First ‘Game’ in Italy

First ‘Game’ in Italy

URI wins its first game in Italy, 92-87 in San Marino. The Rams played an All-Star team at the Palazzetto Dello Sport. It was the first game for Gilvydas in quite some time. Late last night he sent us his comments:

Gilvydas: It felt great to get out on the court. It was definitely an interesting game. During the game lights went off twice. It seemed that they wanted to slow down our momentum. 32 vs 18 fouls was an interesting stat:)

Next game is tomorrow (Thursday). Yesterday I felt like I’m a part of Rhody nation. I’m no longer a guy on the bench who claps. I’m finally participating in action not only behind scenes.
